12/3:

Today I wrote down our work timeline for the next two weeks. I know that this will help us with our work, but it was a real pain. It was kind of difficult to plan out everything when we didn't even know exactly what we were going to do in class. I got a little frustrated. Overall, I think that I did a pretty good job on the timeline. I know that we won't probably follow everything that I wrote, but it will at least be a good starting point. After I finished the timeline I sent it to Colin. He then put it on the Wiki page.

Today I didn't do any research for my bacteria.  I will wait to do it tomorrow. I knid of hope that we can put a game on our website. That would be really cool, but i don't know how make one. Oh well.

 

12/4:

Today I started doing my research. I really didn't get very far, but at least I started. I only copied one source. Colin and I have changed our Wiki page a little though. We changed the skin and added links to the

taskbar. We added both sets of our notes and a works cited page.

Today I really din't have much time to work at all. I kind of fiddled around with the settings on our Wiki page.

 

12/5:

    I continued my research on B. thuringiensis. I added several websites to our works cited page. These websites should help us both on our research. All in all I really didn't have much time to do anything else. Then again, I never have that much time to work any day.

    I am still trying to figure out how to make a video game for our website because that would be really cool. I might be able to ask someone for help. I know that Colin is making a 3-D picture which would help our website. Tomorrow I am going to try and add some pictures to our photo gallery.

 

12/6

    Today I did a lot of research. I found about five different websites that we could use for

our project. I still need to do the website evaluation but I think that thye will be alright. They

are .edu websites. This means that they will probably have good and accurate information on

them. These websites look like they have a lot of information on them. Colin and I split up the website

evaluations.

    Also, I found a picture for our photo gallery. It's only one but it's a start. Hopefully I can find more pictures

that will work out for our gallery. I am still confused about citing the photos but I think that I can figure it out.

I think that we cite it using the same style that our normal citations use. Then I think that I cna put a number by

the citation and then by the picture. I think that I can figure it out.

 

12/7

    Today I found out that Colin made an animation for our website. This is really cool. The anumation is really

good. This will make our website a lot more interesting and might get us a better grade. I am really glad that I

have Colin as my partner. There is no way that I could have made that animation. I have no computer skills

at all. Wow, this is a really big breakthrough on our project that will help a lot. I have to give major props to

Colin for this.

    I still haven't done any of the website evaluations yet. I definitely need to do that before I can work on my

notes and other work. I plan to do that this weekend. Hopefully I can find time around the certamen tournament.

After that I need to work on the bibliography. Right now I have just pasted links to the works cited page. Soon I need to

make those actual citations. Overall, I think that we have made a lot of progress on our project. Also, today we did the

bacteria antibiotics lab. It wasn't very hard which I liked. It will be interesting to see teh growth of the bacteria over

the next couple of days. Our project is going great so far.

 

12/8

    Today is Saturday. I hoped to get some stuff done, but I actually did nothing.

I mainly meant to do some wesite evaluations. I kind of feel bad for doing nothing but I was

really busy today so didn't have any time to do anything. I hope Colin did something. We still have

a lot of time to finish the project which is good.

    Tomorrow I am going to do some website evaluations and maybe some bibliographies.

We need to do the website evaluations so that we can start using the information and

start typing up our reasearch.

 

12/9

    Today I did a couple website evaluations. Now we can start using the information

for reasearch. I wish that more websites had typed up bibliographies. This would make

it much easier to make the works cited page. This is why I like using Encyclopedia

Britannica. It already has MLA format bibliographies.

    Hopefully tomorrow I can start typing up  my notes. This part of the project is going to

take the longest so I really want to get started on it soon.

 

12/10

    Today I didn't get to do a whole lot. In class we worked on the lab report questions. For homeowork I finished

them. I will turn them in tomorrow. This antibiotic lab has bn pretty cool. I like doing labs

a lot more than other things.

    Tomorrow I need to start typing up my notes and finish the website evaluations. This way

we can get ahead on the project which will help a lot.

 

12/11

    Today I din't have much time to do anything. I was at the gym most of the night working

on a show that we are doing tomorrow morning. Tonight I had to get everything ready for the

show like instruments too.I honestly didn't do anything which means that I need to do something

tomorrow for sure. We need to get all of the research typing done in the next couple of days.

   Tomorrow I plan to at least type up my notes. This will be a start. I also need to finish the bibliography

tomorrow. The due date is coming up soon so we need to finish our typing on our bacteria. This part will probably

take the longest, but it won't necessarily be the hardest.

 

12/12

    Today I got some things done. I started on my notes which makes we really happy because now I have

started at least. Now I have to start on my actual big research typing. That will be the fun part. I hope that

Colin has started his. Tomorrow I am going to finish the bibilography and make some progress on my

typing.

    This morning I had a gymnastics show and missed the first two classes. I will have to make up the lab

unless i can use Colin's results.

 

12/13

    Today I had to make up the lab that I missed yesterday. I was sort of confused at first. Oh well. I ended up

making up everything. Today I also made some more progress on my research. I started typing up some things.

I also added some photos to our photo gallery. It feels good to have at least started on my research typing. I still

have a while fo go before I finish everything.

    Tomorrow I am going to spend a lot longer working on my typing. I am going to try and finish it tomorrow because I

will be really busy Saturday and won't have much time.

 

12/14

       Today I got a lot of progress done on my project. I typed up the Advantages and Disadvantages page and the

History page. I feel certain that we will finish the project tomorrow. I ended up working on our project for about an hour.

This is probably the longest that I have worked on it during one sitting. I am going to be really glad when this project

is over because that will be just one more thing off my plate to do. Also, Christmas break is coming up which will be

nice.

    Tomorrow I plan to finish the project because I will be really busy on Sunday and Saturday night. I am pretty sure that

if I work on it for about a couple of hours I would be able to finish it.

 

12/15

    Today I got even more work doen than yesterday. I finished about three pages. It feel really good to get this much work done

on the project. Also, I am really excited because Colin found this really cool video on bacillus thuringiensis. I think that this will really

help our project. I can't wait until we finally finish the project.

    Tomorrow I probably won't be able to get much more work done because I will be really busy. This is where I will be relying on Colin

a lot. I trust him though. When this project is over it will be like a huge stone lifted off my chest. Tomorrow I might be able to get some

work done which will help.

 

12/16

    Today's the big day. We finally turn in our project. Now all we have to do is present our website. That should not be very hard at all.

I really didn't get anything done today because I was really busy. I trust Colin that he put the finishing touches on our website. Overall,

I think that we did a pretty good job on it. It feels so nice to have this project basically over with.

    Also, today I did a little bit of editing on our pages. There really wasn't much in the way of spelling or grammar errors. I think that Colin

will end up emailing our link to Ms. Tucker. All I have to do is my website evaluation. That shouldn't be very hard so it won't take very long

to do. I also added a couple of pictures to the photo gallery and pages. I added the Bt crystals page to the home page because I thought

that page could be useful.
